Before choosing where to stay in Ribadesella you should think carefully about where you want to sleep. The town is divided into three zones; the centre, the beach, and the countryside, with lots of Ribadesella lodging options in each. By first deciding in what area you want to stay, then you can narrow down what places to stay in Ribadesella.
The entire area around Ribadesella is flux with hotels. There are choices of RIbadesella accommodations on both sides of the river, east and west along the coast, and south into the foothills. Upscale Ribadesella hotels, guesthouses, and hostels are mostly in the city center, while Ribadesella hotel deals are more likely to be found in outlying areas.
Hotels in Ribadesella are generally of high quality but also tend to charge more during peak tourist season. Cheap lodging in Ribadesella is most likely to be found in the winter off-season.

The Villarosario Hotel is a beautiful Indian palace that stands out because of its architectural beauty and its excellent views of Ribadesella Beach. The hotel is made up of 17 rooms with bathrooms, a TV, minibar, safe, etc. In short, it offers comfortable service you can enjoy throughout the year.
The El Carmen Hotel is a nice hotel in a quiet hamlet of Ribadesella, just 3 minutes away by car. We're a couple that stayed there in a duplex room (no. 15) with a 10-year-old child. There were two beds and a bathroom on the bottom floor, and a third bed in the loft that had a ladder to get up to it. The room had a fun charm for us, and especially for our child. The hotel has its charm and the garden is wonderful with lots of greenery and a stream that flows into a fish pond.
We spent a lovers' weekend at the La Güertona Country Apartments and everything was beautiful. There are 5 houses with wonderful views. With their fireplaces, porches, the garden, and even the small goldfish pond was great. It's just 2 minutes away from downtown Ribadesella. There you'll find the most beautiful beach where you can take a long walk! And the village is really compact. It's tiny, but it's close to everything, to Covadonga and the lakes, the Picos de Europa, Oviedo, and Gijon. The truth is that we couldn't wait to see more. We're sure to come back.
The Hostel Roberto Frasinelli in Ribadesella (Asturias) belongs to the network of youth hostels (Youth Hostels / Hostelling International). It has cheap prices, around 18-20 euros per night for bed and breakfast. They also have full board for 6 or 7 euros more, but I do not recommend it, because the food is not very good. The best things are the building itself and where it is located. It is a late nineteenth-century mansion, completely renovated, with spacious rooms and showers. The style of these buildings looks a little colonial, not like other European buildings of the time. The private rooms are the best but, if it is full, you will have to share with other guests. However, I strongly recommend it for three reasons: The price (very cheap), service (they always treated me very well) and its location (it's on the beach in Ribadesella). To this I add that it has spectacular views.
The Covadonga Hotel is a few meters away from Ribedesella port, and in the area with the most atmosphere, this was the most appropriate option for staying the night during the summer holidays. From the outside, the truth is that it doesn't really say much, it's not exactly flashy. Inside, however, caught my attention and I became curious. It seemed like we'd stepped back in time a few decades. It's a typical old house with high ceilings, velvet curtains, ornaments, and paintings, all of which formed the strangest and actually, inviting atmosphere. Our room was huge (there were four of us), and it consisted of 2 adjoining rooms and a cozy covered balcony overlooking the street entrance to the hotel. The price, given the dates and the size of the rooms, seemed pretty economical to me. There's no doubt that it's a hotel outside of the norm in today's world. Totally recommendable.
It's true that the La Marina Hotel is rather old. But in 2007 I stayed there for 2 nights in July and paid 70 euros. Its location is unbeatable (right in the center of Ribadesella). The price included breakfast. What more could you want? I should mention I was there during the holiday season, and it's better to know that going into it. If you're looking for tranquility, don't go during their Sella holiday season. For a weekend, or a long weekend, however, it's ideal. Good price and good service.
Across from the Santa Marina Beach is where you'll find this fabulous 4-star hotel, Gran Hotel del Sella. I had the pleasure of going there over the weekend. The hotel is divided into 2 distinct areas. In one area you'll find the reception area and special rooms, and in the other area you'll find modern we find other facilities such as a spa, restaurant and other rooms. It's a quality hotel, but for my taste, during the busy season it's a bit pricey, but it's understood here that business is business. If you go to the hotel try to get a room in the old part of the hotel since they have the best views.
This is the hotel with the best views of Ribadesella. Although access to the hotel is quite complex, due to its location on top of the village and entrance to the hotel through a path that can only be traveled by customers and hikers, certainly once you get there you forget all the trouble it was to get there because the views are unique.
The hotel is also well-connected to the town by a small staircase which leaves you in the bars and restaurants of the town. It is a simple 2-star hotel but perfectly equipped with telephone, TV with Freeview, bathroom with bathtub, hairdryer and amenities. Plus, a breakfast-though not buffet-is included, and features pastries, bread, butter, jam , juices and coffee. Brisas del Sella is a perfect hotel if your beach vacation budget is tight and you want to enjoy this beautiful area of Asturias.
The Casa de Aldea Ruiloba Hotel is a wonderful house made out of stone and wood. It was an old stable that was later converted into a hotel in the historic heart of Ribadesella, near the Sella River and Ardines Cave. This hotel has large, shared facilities. The house has 6 bedrooms that have all been adapted for reduced-mobility people, as well as having a comfortable area for a relaxing and quiet holiday. The area's mountainous and coastal landscape simultaneously make its location perfect to be at one with nature and the charms of that part of Asturias. If you stay at the Hotel Casa de Aldea Ruiloba, you can practice sports such as canoeing, horseback riding and quad biking.
This lovely Casona is in Junco, a tiny town, for its location, is one of the most impressive viewpoints toward the mouth of the River Sella. From the Mirador Casona del Sella you can enjoy the Cantabrian Sea, the River Sella and the mountains of the Picos de Europa. The lovely town of Ribadesella you have 3 miles away. La Casona del Sella is on a hill dominating everything from green meadows and forests. Breakfast in the seasons that weather permitting treading the grass and listening to the sound of water is a pleasure that we can hardly forget. La Casona del Sella is an old structure that has been restored. They have retained source materials such as wooden beams that give it a charm and warmth to the environment inside. However, they have managed to combine the rustic with the need to provide those who have decided to stay in one of their rooms all the amenities we need. In any room of La Casona can have your private bathroom, Internet connection, AC and TV. If the weather does not permit outside and enjoy the outdoors, we can go to the dining room for breakfast, have a good time in a room with various games I find information about the area in a small library. Do not forget to visit the beautiful village of Ribadesella, Llanes and its beautiful beaches, Tito Bustillo Cave, Covadonga, Picos de Europa and the only town in Spain that access must do so through a cave: the Cuevona.
While we were looking for a place to sleep in Ribadesella, we found this little but beautiful hotel at the top of the ridge leading up from the harbor. Despite being small and being just two stars, it's comfortable, warm, familiar, and doesn't miss a single detail. The price is more than worth it, due to the exemplary service ...
