Rocio lunches

Beira Gare is a bustling and busy restaurant around the Rocío, we decided to go just because of the number of people at their tables, it has rich and cheap eats. Rations, as in most of Portugal, are more than enough for two people. We tried the grilled cod and coinsinhas, they were like croquettes and were really good.

The best dish made the city

From the street I saw a window full of appetizing snacks like fried drumsticks and rolled. Similar to other Brazilian food to avoid attracting the attention of a poor student away from his homeland for over two months. When I went to eat a drumstick, saw dishes made of rice, beans, salad and fish for 5 euros. It is no wonder that the Beira Gare Café is always busy, especially at lunch. A good tip is to arrive before 13h, when people are starting to go out to eat, not to run the risk of running out of table.

We walked into this bar because the window offered a very attractive view of the cook doing simmer meat in different sauces. We sat at the bar for some tapas: 2 meat and 2 fish and we have not regretted let us be guided by our appetite. It was delicious, the servers were very friendly (as everyone we met in Lisbon) and the setting is lovely.
