Worth a visit
You can't visit Cear without trying some of the typical Brazilian products in the cafes. The regional produce has become so famous that a gastronomic complex has been built, the Centro das Tapioqueiras. It is located at the start of the EC-040, the road leading to the east coast beaches, and has beome a tourist attraction. The 26 stalls here serve more than 50 versions of this local delicacy, in the original version - round with butter and cheese or coconut milk - and different flavours: corned beef with melted cheese (my favourite), shrimp, chicken, cheese, chocolate, and so many more. You can also find drinks on offer: coffee, hot chocolate, cappuccino, fruit juices and soft drinks.
