Lustgarten

The name name Lustgarten means leisure gardens. It is a park situated on the Museum Island, near where once stood the town hall of Berlin. The garden was then part of the palace and was used for military parades and rallies. The site was created in the sixteenth century as a part of the palace of the kings of Prussia. The gardens were formalized in the seventeenth century before being converted to an army camp in the eighteenth century. Now it is surrounded by museums, built during the golden era of the kingdom of Prussia. The place was almost completely destroyed during World War II. On one side is the Berliner Dom, the cathedral city evangelical, the other the old National Gallery, and amid people come to play ball or have a picnic.

Romantic garden next to the cathedral

From the center of Berlin was the cathedral, cross the bridge Schlossbrucke or Castillo and do nothing else and you will see this lovely garden surrounding the cathedral. On sunny days many families and young people lie on the grass, but during the winter it's most photogenic, children continue going to their schools and have morning excursions of undeniable beauty.

Beautiful square

In my opinion, one of the most beautiful squares in Berlin. It is very big, a real garden, and surrounds the facade of the Cathedral and the famous Berlin Altes Museum. It's where Berliners come with their children, sunbathing or playing with their dogs while tourists take pictures and have a hot dog. Near the Altes Museum is an impressive pile of stone on which is worth stopping for. Alive both day and night, one of the places that will remind you of Berlin for its beauty, animation and breadth ... Usually there is good weather when I visit ;)!

Squirrels in tiergarten

While strolling through Tiergarten, felt some striking noises in the treetops, I stopped and I could see a worried squirrel looking for food, I stay still and after more than 10 shots I could capture this photograph that I share ... If it is true that I have had opportunity to meet Italy, Austria and Prague in Czech Republic, Frankfurt and Cologne, fell in love with Berlin. A beautiful city with very nice people.

Garden of delights or delights

("Garden of Delights" in Portuguese) is a park on Museum Island (Museums) in central Berlin, Germany, near the site of the former Berliner Stadtschloss (Berlin City Palace), to which it originally belonged. The Lustgarten, originally a private garden of the old palace of Berlm which will be rebuilt, was used at various times as a parade ground, local rallies and public park. This place was already a field planting potatoes.

The name means lustgarten gardens lei...

The name means Lustgarten Gardens leisure. It is a park located on the island of museums, not far from where was before the municipal palace in Berlin. The garden was part of the palace, it was used for military parades and public meetings. The place was founded in the sixteenth century as a dependency of the palace of the kings of Prussia. It formalizes the seventeenth before into practice field for armies. Now this is a nice place surrounded by museums, built during the golden era of the kingdom of Prussia. Before the Nazi censorship, it was also the place of the events. The place was destroyed during the Second World War. On one side there is the Berliner Dom, the Evangelical Cathedral, the other the Old National Gallery, and in the midst of lawns to play or picnic.
