Centerpiece fountain

The Fontaine des Trois Graces is the centerpiece of the beautiful Place de la Bourse de Bordeaux. In its place was first a statue of King Louis XV mounted on horseback, which was melted during the French Revolution subsequently, a statue of Napoleon III, also destroyed. This building was built in 1869. It was renovated in 2000 along with the entire plaza which is now spectacular. The source represents three daughters of Zeus, Aglaia, Euphrosyne, Thalie. Designed by Visconti, the architect ve created the Hotel des Invalides in Paris, where the tomb of Napoleon was laid. The fountain was removed in 2001 to protect it from the nearby rail construction damaging it, and was repositioned in 2006.
