A very modern and attractive detail

Woking Station is, after Reading and Guildford, the busiest in Surrey. Unlike most stations in England, Woking Station has a very modern and attractive detail. A steel structure at the main entrance forms a high ceiling of about 6 meters, panels of different inclination are attached. Beneath the roof there is a small plaza with benches normally people sit waiting for friends or family, or waiting for the train departure time. The "ceiling" is also shared by vehicles passing below both cabs as buses, because normal traffic is prohibited in the zone. The station has five platforms and communicates with London trains every 15-20 minutes.

Woking station is after the Reading and Guildford, the most transited Department of Surrey. Unlike most train stations English villages, Woking station has a modern and attractive feature. Just above the main entrance, there is an iron structure that forms a roof top about 7 meters, solid panels of different inclinations. Under the roof there is a small square filled with benches for waiting travelers. This "roof" is shared by passing vehicles below, taxis or buses as normal traffic is prohibited in the area. The station has five platforms and trains to London during the day every 20 minutes. You can reach Heathrow airport directly, without going through London, with a bus service that leaves from in front of the station every hour and takes about 40 minutes.
