This large urban park is located on the banks of the river Coura and yet very near the mouth of the river Miño. It occupies a large area and offers recreation to children and young people with a playground and sports fields for football and basketball. In the garden areas and especially along the river there are a variety of banana trees and palm trees. A pair of sculptures adorn the park, one a kind of obelisk made of stone and the other a modern sculpture in blue surrounded by fish. There is also a wonderful terrace café where one can freshen up and relax in beautiful surroundings.
