Polis João Paulo II Park

Polis João Paulo II Park is outside the historical center, in Caxinas. After Eixo Atlantic Park it's the largest green space in the city (22,500 m2). It opened in 2005 and has more than 700 trees, flowers, lawns and a lake and was designed by architect Siza Vieira. It also has a playground and an "Activity Center", a kind of toy library and media center, with computer room and internet access for kids.
