Aerodrome of the Puyo

From the Aeroclub of Puyo (Pastaza region) you can have access to various indigenous communities of the Amazon Rainforest. The plane usually is rented to fit three passengers (quite tight). Just arrive a day early, and ask for the service for the next day. We were two people and a twenty minute flight cost us $ 180 one way (three years ago). The return is agreed by radio, from the village in which you are (unless it's a very isolated, all have a radio in order to be connected with the city). In Puyo there are many shops where you can buy the "team" basic for going into the jungle: Mosquito nets and boots at least.
