Baked

Located in the trendy neighborhood of Red Hook, Baked has the best sweets in Brooklyn (and probably in New York). The whoopie pies are super-tender and not overly sweet and the chocolate salt caramel pecan bars are great with a coffee or tea after eating at one of the restaurants in the area. The sweets are handmade in the store so they don't have exactly the same selection every day. Here's a piece of foodie trivia: the owners were in an episode of Bobby Flay's for a competition for the best peanut butter banana cream pie. Yum yum!
