Borgo Basilica dei Fieschi

Situata nel comune di Cogorno è raggiungibile in macchina, non distante dal centro abitato di San Salvatore nell'entroterra ligure a due passi dalla cittadina di Lavagna. La basilica fu fatta costruire dal pontefice Innocenzo IV reso famoso nel XIII canto dell'Inferno da Dante. Dall'esterno si può ammirare lo stile romanico misto gotico della struttura in tutto il suo splendore rifinita dall'ardesia estratta nelle vicine cave.

Located in the municipality of Cogorno is accessible by car, not far from the town of San Salvatore in the Ligurian hinterland a few steps from the town of Lavagna. The basilica was built by Pope Innocent IV made famous in the thirteenth canto of the Inferno by Dante.
