Bodega Bouza do Rei

The wineries of Bouza do Rei, like most in the region of Salnés, are "manors" these days, modern buildings of stone in which you can buy good wine at very good prices. This place is known for its size as it can hold 800,000 liters of wine. It was founded in 1984 and currently has a total of 25 hectares of Alvariño vineyards. As stated outside the winery on a plaque, it is governed by a criteria of maximum quality in the production process and uses the latest technologies such as pneumatic presses, cooling equipment, filtration equipment, bottling and labeling and large steel tanks holding 30,000 liters.
