The cafes in Mexico are really great places. What else can you get cold and cheap beer, and at the same time, they give you food? Only in these temples, which are scattered throughout the country. This place is called "Friends", in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas. The rules are simple: You come in, order your beer and you realize that it is always 2x1. You are then given a little home made snack to enjoy with your drink. Shrimp soup, fish, tacos or tamales - everything is great. At the same time, if the waiter likes you, they give you a "brazier" which is a small stove brought to the table with a griddle on top where there is a meat stew with cheese that you eat with tortilla chips.
