Brazil Street

Brazil Street is one of the main streets of Castries, which bring together the majority of shops and local businesses. It is located in the heart of the city, just behind the Cathedral and Plaza Derek Walcott. Here, you will see a good example of the typical architecture of Castries, colonial and Victorian style, built by French and British, the two powers that occupied the island. Two-storey wooden houses with latticed balconies are painted in pastel colors.
