Carmel-by-the-Sea

Traveling HW-1 from Los Angeles to San Francisco you have to stop in Carmel. In this town it is forbidden to cut trees and there are no mailboxes because they are considered unsightly (they go to city hall for the mail) and known mainly because Clint Eastwood was mayor.
