We first went to the Village Corner for New Year's. It's a simple, economical and comfortable place, and the service was impeccable. We arrived at night without a reservation and the owner himself greeted us and led us to a table. The restaurant is set in a little cottage with an outdoor seating area that's covered and has heaters (so don't worry about the cold!). Village Corner mainly serves seafood dishes, but we opted for pasta instead. I got penne with olives and my partner got linguine with shrimp. Both were pretty good but we could have used some grated Parmesan on top! Each plate cost around $15.00.
