Carmen arch

This is an annex to the Carmen temple. Its initial function was to serve the church steeple. A door at the bottom gave access to the convent, or served as a passage between two parts of the city. It is believed that the door was the connection between the temple and other temples nearby. Is considered "the most striking colonial building in the city" and "one of the most remarkable and unique monuments of the New World". It is in a Mudejar style, which is an artistic style that developed in the Christian kingdoms of the Iberian Peninsula. It is located in the center, so it's easy to visit.
