Castello Il Palagio

Although the first reference we have of this is from XIII century Tuscan castle, is known to have been around much earlier. Translating to English as The Castle Palace, this fortress, which now belongs to the Marquis Goretti Miniati, has survived numerous attacks over the centuries. Today, in addition to weddings and banquets, it is dedicated to wine and wine and oil production. The vineyards and olive groves look impressive any time with the colours changing throughout the year. Both are good to visit.
