Playa de Castilnovo

The Playa de Castilnovo is part of an extension that runs for several kilometers, ending in the "pueblo blanco" of Conil de la Frontera. The extension runs from Castilnovo to Tarifa and is divided into four sections. It is a very wide, open beach, and is also quite wild; be aware that it is frequented by nudists, especially in the more remote parts of Conil near the mouth of the river. As you can probably see from my pictures, the beach owes its name to the tower of Castilnovo located in the dunes. If you want to take a long walk along the Conil sea front, I recommend the beaches of Chorrillo, Fontanilla, Playa de los Bateles, and finally Playa de Castilnovo.
