On 24 May 2010 a replica of the ship of English Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758 - 1805) was inaugurated. It is a symbol of the country's national hero as well as of British heroism in the wars against France. The work that was done by the artist Yinka Shonibare symbolizes the importance of the Battle of Trafalgar, the famous British naval victory against the Spanish-French Navy. The socket that holds the bottle was originally built in 1841 to display an equestrian statue was not performed and completed in 1998.
