1 review of Fallin Bing

A pleasant natural site

Fallin, Stirling (Scotland) has an interesting natural space known as Bing. Here you'll find a hill surrounded by trees and trails that run to the town. The hill was once the main entrance to the coal and peat mines, so what today are walking trails were once important routes for the mined goods. When the mines closed, the local authorities decided to convert the space into a natural area for the enjoyment of the locals. It's very nice, with direct views of Stirling Castle and the William Wallace Monument. A pleasant natural site, easily accessible and just a few miles from the historic center
