Falls Park on the Reedy

Falls park is nothing short of amazing! The falls were covered up by streets and commerce many years ago, but the city finally decided it was too beautiful to stay covered up and Falls Park was born! The suspension bridge is the second of it's kind ever built. It is not just a way to get across the river, but provides an amazing view right in the middle of downtown Greenville.

Shops, restaurants, and grassy areas to picnic or read line the banks of the river. Children cool off in the sidewalk fountains or dip their toes in the stream. No swimming allowed, and no boating over the falls!
