In the downtown area, at the end of the Malecon, is the Pointe Simm ferry dock. Several shipping companies offer shuttle service to nearby islands and various places on the island of Martinique. The most visited place on the island is Pointe du Bout (Les Trois-lets, south), the tourist area of hotels, beaches, marina and a shopping area (the Creole villa). The station has a tourist information office and taxi rank.
