Fiestas de San Pedro

Really they are the Feasts of St. Peter and St. Paul and they are the major festivals of Burgos. They last between 7 and 10 days. The city is transformed and many cultural and festive events are moved to the street. Many activities are laden with tradition, such as offerings of flowers to the patron saint of the city, Santa Maria Maggiore, "gigantillos" dancing (dancing of the giants), giants and dancing in the city streets, etc. One of the things I like the most is to enjoy the booths that are put up all over the city; where bars always offer food and drink to anyone who approaches ...
