Finca Don Gabriel
40 minutes from Huatulco, in a town called "Pluma Hidalgo" between the hills and Oaxacan, I found a coffee estate called "Villa Don Gabriel". I spent one night with my family there, completely disconnected from urban life, the sounds of cars and technology! The coffee experience. We were greeted by a friendly host offering us freshly baked bread and a cup of coffee. We did a tour and the process from the plant to the cup was explained to us. The tour ended with a visit to the museum, where you can find coffee grinders hundreds of years old to freshly harvested coffee beans. Flavors of Mexico. In the evening the restaurant offered all sorts of traditional Oaxacan dishes that my family and I enjoyed, like tlayudas, memelas, quesadillas with fresh tortillas, smoked meat, sausage and cheese, accompanied by fresh water.
