Fluvial Beach of Peneda

The river beach is between the mountains of Açor and the Sierra of Lousa, about 40 km from Coimbra. It's one of the natural beauties that caught my eye. A pity it wasn't summer but the day was great! Peneda Beach, so called because it is part of a leisure and recreation area, has a lawn, and a small sand island in the middle of the river. Surrounded by trees and a café with a terrace open during the summer. Do not miss the beach, the Roman bridge, the viewpoint with the castle chapel. Everything is very close.
