Fluvial Beach or Reconquinho

Fluvial Beach (or Reconquinho) is the name of a river beach that is very close to the beautiful mountain town of Penacova, in the center of Portugal (Coimbra) and is good for leisure and recreation in the summer. It is equipped for this purpose as it has sand, playgrounds, chairs, coffee-bars that open in the summer (they are closed in autumn). For those interested in adventure travel, journeys can be along the Mondego river by canoe, with beautiful panoramic views. We were lucky with the weather, but to enjoy these adventure sports and would perhaps be better to go in summer.
