Hand Ball
In the middle of a small French Basque village, ranked one of the most beautiful in France, it was formerly the castle of a fortified town, of which nothing remains. Ball is one of the area's more established sports, of which there are different ways to play, like hand ball, basket ball, and leather glove. And there's no celebration where ball games and other sports aren't present, like aizkolaris (in which a log is cut with an ax), harrijasotzaile (stone lifting), and sokatira (rope pulling competition). It's in the French Basque area where there are many single-wall handball courts.
