Huaca The Emerald is in the village of Mansiche, just 3 km from Trujillo. It's an archaeological site associated with the Chimu culture and linked to Chan Chan. It's a huge rectangular building (65m long x 41 m wide) with two platforms and central ramps. Geometrical figures and animals decorate the adobe walls.
