Jardin du Beffroi

Le jardin du beffroi se trouve non loin de la Grand Place, sur une petite hauteur, en suivant la rue de la "Rampe du Château". Vous arrivez alors dans ce petit jardin très agréable, accolé au beffroi (lui même classé au patrimoine de l'humanité par l'UNESCO). C'est un endroit reposant, parfait pour se détendre et s'échapper quelques instants des ruelles animées du centre ville historique. Le jardin étant sur une hauteur, il y a là un excellent panorama sur la ville de Mons et les alentours. Le point de vue sur le beffroi est lui aussi magnifique.

De magnifiques souvenirs du début de mes amours, il y a 33 ans, juste avant le début des travaux enfin terminés il y a peu ! Les amours sont finies, mais le beffroi est superbe !
