Joe's Shanghai

Some friends recommended Joe's Shanghai as one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Chinatown area, so we decided to give it a try. The place is always packed, the employees are always going at full speed, and the table turnover is pretty rapid too. The decor is nothing special, but what really brings New Yorkers back time and again are the famous dumplings served in boxes of eight. We ordered some dumplings and tempura shrimp in tempura, and we left full. Generous portions and really good food.
