Le Café Bordelais

The Bordelais Café is in the Cours du XXX Juillet, near the Place des Quinconces. It is a Brasserie, an old traditional cafe which used to make homebrews. It's a good spot to check out if you want to taste the local wines of the region, and the menu offers a great variety. There is a room located on the ground floor, and an extension above, from which you can see the Rambla de Tourny, which goes leads from the square to Quinconces theater. It offers a menu for 22 euros, another for lunch from 12 euros. Recently, the French government decided to lower the VAT on restaurants, and while many places were only left with more money, this restaurant lowered its prices.
