The bar-restaurant "L'Etage" remains open continuously from 10:00 am to 18:00 in the evenings, every day of the week. Every day of the week it serves a set dish, and several salads and meat and fish kebabs are optional. I recommend the Mafé (a single dish with white rice and meat with a delicious sauce) which is also a very common dish (typical). And it's the cheapest restaurant to be found in Saly. At night it turns into a nightclub with mostly salsa music, but with a markedly tourist feel. The Senegalese music is authentic. I was fortunate to meet a Spaniard that was married to a Senegalese musician who invited us one night to one of the performances, where almost only the locals go.
