Line 1 (Budapest Metro)

I always think it's an interesting experience to take the Metro in a new city, and Budapest was no exception! Line 1 of the Budapest Metro is actually considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site because it was the first metro to be built in mainland Europe! Despite its age, it works great and gets you across the city in no time. I'd suggest getting the Budapest Pass so you can use all of the public transportation lines in Budapest.
