Macanao Peninsula - Excursion 4 X 4

The Macanao Peninsula is located on the west side of the Island of Margarita, attached to the large sand tongue La Restinga National Park . It is the most unspoilt and less populated part of Margarita Island, but there aren't roads, just unpaved dirt roads, so it is common to do a road tour, hiring a guide from one of the many companies. I had fun, we went in several jeeps, and the drivers were very excited young boys who made the trip very enjoyable, even making competitions between them, to see who got more difficult paths or beat the others.
