Monument to the Small Insurgent

1 review of Monument to the Small Insurgent

Sad childhood

On one side of the historic barbican, just off from the Stare Miasto of the old town, is a statue that moves, a child soldier or small insurgent of Warsaw. With a helmet and a rifle, this child symbolizes all those who were trapped in the ruins of Warsaw during the city's uprising against the Germans (summer 1944).
