The Clock Tower

The Clock Tower of the Royal Castle (also known as the Sigismund Tower) is above the main entrance to the castle. The clock was installed in 1622, but was rebuilt and relaunched in 1974. During World War II, the Nazis destroyed almost the entire castle but it was rebuilt in its entirety.
