1 review of Museum of Neon Art

Electrifying, colorful, kinetic art at MONA

In 2011, the Museum of Neon Art in Downtown Los Angeles closed its doors. Now, they're open again at a new location in Glendale. This museum is pretty neat because the exhibits are electrifying and colorful. It's a lot different from your typical art museum with works from preceding centuries.

(Nothing wrong with those, though!) As of this writing, the museum is still relatively new, so the number of exhibits on display is on the thin side. Still, it's a wonderful place to visit if you're looking for some contemporary art to appreciate and something younger adults and kids will like as well. Some fascinating works include "Tannenbaum" by Richard Ankrom (you can hear it buzz and see it light up) and "Decision Machine" by Wayne Strattman.
