Lisbon Oceanarium

The Lisbon Oceanarium is in the Parque das Nações, on the banks of the river Tagus in a new and completely renovated zone which was an ancient spring. There are four natural habitats recreated here representing the oceans and all lead to the centre tank. The visit is full of surprises as rooms dedicated to water and their movements showing how they make waves with videos and photographs, ponds with ocean babies Ocean (little creatures) and there are many activities for kids. In summer there are camps and the kids can go to sleep in the Oceanarium next to the central pond and get sleepy with sharks, fish, penguins, etc.

An array of color from the oceans

Excellent

You can't go to Lisbon and not visit the Oceanarium. It's the largest in the world and is in the Park of Nations, site of the Lisbon Expo. Not only will you find aquatic animals, but also amphibians and birds. The price is really worth it and the experience can last one and a half hours or more - everyone wants to get lost in the water!

They have sea otters!

A good aquarium with deep water tanks and plenty of information boards with facts about the species on show.
Probably in the top three in Europe alongside Valencia and Genova.

Lisboa

An amazing place

This place is amazing, I love this place, there are many attractive sea animals there. And the ticket is very cheap.

Nice for a day with family and friends, on a rainy day in Lisbon
