Oldedalen Valley

From the small town of Olden in Norway Nordfjord, extends Oldedalen the beautiful valley between slopes, mountains and beautiful lakes. Olden is in the municipality of Strynn in western Norway. It is the perfect location to explore an area that with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and breathtaking natural wonders. Certainly, one of these wonders is the powerful Jostedal Glacier, situated in Jostedalsbreen National Park. It has 24 arms that stretch into the valleys and lakes of this region. The best known of these is the Briksdal glacier. You can see the turbulent river that feeds the beautiful Lake Olden form magnificent waterfalls on a walk to the glacier.
