Ometepe Island

Ometepe is an island located in Lake Nicaragua and is formed by two volcanoes that join to form an interesting figure of eight which can be seen from the sky. A tour of its forest is amazing such as the Ecological Reserve of Charco Verde which is inhabited by monkeys, reptiles and many birds. The beaches found amongst the vegetation from which you can contemplate beautiful views of the island is a joy to the senses. Not forgetting the Ojo de Agua, a natural spring to relax in and stop along the way for a swim in crystal clear waters. I also recommend making the most of Moyogalpa parties, music, food, dancing and a completely indigenous atmosphere.
