A piece of Japan in Curitiba
Parana is the state in Brazil with the second largest Japanese population. You can see this in the city of Curitiba, with the Japanese square, complete with architecture of that country. The most prominent thing to see are the gardens, with cherry trees and a Buddha. I was in Japan recently, and even after going to that country, I was impressed by what I saw in Curitiba. A great place to go if you want to relax and enjoy the evening. They have traditional festivals throughout the year, offering Japanese food. On Thursdays they hold traditional tea ceremonies. The square is located at the end of the Agua Verde neighbourhood, bordering the famous nightlife area of Batel.
