The First Argentinian Welsh People

Great

The first home was built in Gaiman in 1874 and belonged to David D. Roberts. He and his family were considered to be the first inhabitants here. The first Argentine born descendent of the Welsh inhabitants was Dewi Roberts called Idris. Locals knew it as the Stone House, which nowadays is a museum. It's arranged with furniture, ornaments and furnishings from the time. The roof was rebuilt, however the rest of the house has been kept in very good condition. All information refers to the official Gaiman tourism page.
