Great English Pub
Tourists say that London is expensive. However, London, like any city, is about knowing where to go. If you are lucky enough to get to know the city, then you will find shops, bars and restaurants that are even cheaper than in our country. If you are looking to go grab some beers with friends, but don't want to burn a hole in your wallet, then you should stop by the Crown. This English pub is located in a place where (when the weather's warm) people gather outside the bar to have a beer. People use to sit outside the bar on a sort of stone platform that was right in front of the door (I think it's been banned).
Since in London (as in all of Britain) smoking is illegal inside the pubs, it's not surprising that the terraces of bars and restaurants are so packed. They don't have a great selection of beers, but they have a little-known beer, blond or toasted. It only costs about 2 pounds (it might have gone up in the last year), so compared to the other pubs who charge about 4 pounds, it's pretty good. The atmosphere is young and friendly. In the summer the place is packed because of the number of street artists who come to play here. If you prefer to be seated somewhere indoors, this place has two floors and comfortable chairs where you can sit down. I think they even had carpeting (why not!?).
