Sciences Museum of Castilla - la Mancha

El Museo de las Ciencias de Castilla-La Mancha está situado en la plaza de la Merced, en pleno casco antiguo de la ciudad. Os recomiendo que lo visitéis si tenéis algo de tiempo, ya que es interesante, divertido y tiene salas muy educativas. Si vais con niños creo que es una muy buena opción para pasar un rato entretenidos. El museo fue inaugurado en 1999 y su sede es bastante curiosa, ya que está construida sobre dos antiguos edificios de la judería de Cuenca a la vez que rematado con una estructura moderna. Una vez dentro se pueden visitar las salas del Planetario (que es mi favorita), la de Geología, la de Estratigrafía, la de Paleontología, el Laboratorio de la Vida (donde se explican las diferentes peculiaridades del entorno natural de la Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla-La Mancha), la sala de Historia del Futuro… La entrada vale 1,20 euros (reducida de 0,6 € para estudiantes). Para el planetario hay un suplemento de 1,20 euros. Los menores entran gratuitamente.

The Science Museum of Castilla-La Mancha is located in the Plaza de la Merced, in the old part of the city. I recommend you visit it if you have some time, because it is interesting, fun and has very educational rooms. If you go with children I think is a very good option to spend time entertaining. The museum was inaugurated in 1999 and its headquarters is rather curious, as it is built on two old buildings in the Jewish quarter of Cuenca while topped with a modern structure. Once inside you can visit the Planetarium rooms (which is my favorite), that of geology, Stratigraphy, Paleontology the the Laboratory of Life (which explains the different features of the natural environment of the Autonomous Community of Castile -La Mancha), the History of the Future room ... Admission is $ 1.20 (reduced from 0.6 € for students). For the planet there is a charge of $ 1.20. The under are free.

Il Museo de las Ciencias de Castilla-La Mancha è un museo dedicato alle scienze. Qui i visitatori potranno apprendere nozioni sulla formazione della terra, la nascita della vita e dell'uomo, l'astronomia e molto altro. Il museo, inaugurato nel 1999, si trova in [poi=67821]Piazza della Merced[/poi], nel centro storico di Cuenca. Dispone tra le altre cose di un planetario, la cui cupola è visibile anche da lontano e risalta nel panorama della città. L'entrata costa poco più di 1 euro. Purtroppo non siamo a riusciti ad entrare perché stavano chiudendo. Raccomando di consultare dunque gli orari di apertura. Chiuso il lunedì.

The Museo de las Ciencias de Castilla-La Mancha is a museum dedicated to science. Here, visitors can learn facts about the formation of the earth, the birth of life and man, astronomy, and much more. The museum, opened in 1999, is located in [then = 67821] Square Merced [/ then] in the historic center of Cuenca. It has among other things a planetarium, the dome of which is visible from far away and stands out in the panorama of the city. Entry costs just over 1 euro. Unfortunately we are not able to enter because they were closing. So I recommend to consult opening hours. Closed on Mondays.
