Pretty village

Sebes is a pretty village an hours drive from Sibiu. It has a church dating from the Middle Ages, when the Saxons came over from Germany and settled in the region. As it was a very fertile prairie, other groups of people tried to invade, and settlers took refuge in the fortresses around the church. Besides this, you can have a look round the typical Saxon houses which are very large. If you dare to push the doors, you will see inside shared flats now shared by several families in view of being a single family house.
