Miguel the Brave Memorial Church

This church is located in the Citadel , close to the Horea Obelisk, CLOSCA and Crisan . It is a memorial to Mihai Viteazul (Michael the Brave), who is considered a national hero for having achieved the unification of the three Romanian principalities (Wallachia, Transylvania and Moldavia). The church was originally built out of wood, but what we can see today is of a more recent construction from the year 1988, but it raised as the early 16th century.
