St Thomas's Church

1 review of St Thomas's Church

Jewel of the Church

This 12th century church is in the middle of town near Burgos and was declared a Historical-Artistic site, though it retains little of its original appearance. What is seen today is almost all from the 15th century. It has 6 altarpieces, Renaissance stained glass depicting the Nativity, a beautiful Romanesque font, and a silver staircase, which is the jewel of the Church. It retains an 18th century organ with very beautiful sound. If you actually go to Burgos, you should visit this place. It's one of the prettiest villages in Spain.
