The Old Rosslyn Inn

1 review of The Old Rosslyn Inn

A gorgeous historic gem

Excellent

Wow! So many visitors come here, dazzled by Dan Brown's "Da Vinci Code". They come in their hordes to Rosslyn Chapel, hoping to catch a glimpse of the secrets of the Templars, as explained in the famous novel ... well, sorry, but the chapel was built 139 years after the disappearance of Scotland's last Templar. This inn, currently being renovated, is expected to open soon as a museum and coffee shop.

It was founded in 1660 and operated until 1866. What we see is the original structure with minimal reforms, including the color of your walls. It sits between the parking lot and the chapel, and from the rear you can easily get to two impressive local sites: Rosslyn Castle and Rosslyn Glen.
