Hiking Mt. Garfield & Mt. Lafayette

This is a two-day hike between the highest peaks of Franconia Park in New Hampshire. The best time to go is in October when all the maples are turning red, yellow,and orange. You can hike 4-5 hours to Garfield campsite ($16/night for a tent) on the first day, and then get up early to continue the trail.
